WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY - SPECIAL DAY

I am not a numbers person nor am I one to really count the time  - but I have been counting since December 30th. 2009 and in terms of days at first, then into weeks and now I have reached the glorious celebratory milestone of 18 MONTHS.

52 weeks (one year) plus 26 weeks (half a year = 78 weeks and that is 18 months or one and a half years.

This to me is an amazing achievement - and I honour my donor and his family and pay tribute to the Medical and Nursing staff who got me to this stage and continue to monitor me and care for me.

It is a life of medications and being careful to avoid "bugs" but it is life and I am alive and well.
