82 WEEKS AND A CHANGE OF PLAN

Welcome to Wednesday and time for me to check in.
82 weeks today and a change of plan - I am still holding my appointment for October 28th. but as a result of phone calls and emails, we have decided to hold off the medication change and review on August 19th.
This means I will be off for blood work on 16th. and then two appointments at Flinders on Friday 19th.
I am well and although I was pleased to not be going to Flinders for three months I am not distressed by this change of plan - it is for my good anyway and I value the care I always receive at my Bedford Park Townhouse (Flinders Medical Centre.
Changes in medication and appointments are merely part of my life post transplant and I accept them as readily as I accepted the gift of life.
I am going shopping tomorrow and oh the bliss that brings to be able to choose when I want to go and browse when and where I wish. I know me very well though - an hour or so will be enough and when I have purchased what I went for I will be on the way home.

Visiting you for the first time! You are so blessed, so happy to hear how well you are doing on your journey. My sister-in-law also had a liver transplant in February of 2006. She is doing well, her 15 year old son keeps her busy and she has an amazing outlook on life as you do. I'll keep you in my prayers! Would love to visit again, hope you don't mind a new follower.
